Customs Clearance Services
Import & Export clearance at every Indian port and ICD
Bill of Entry, Shipping Bill, ICEGATE filing, e-Sanchit document management, AEO-aligned operations at JNPT, Mundra, Kandla, Pipavav, TKD, and 60+ ICDs.
Customs clearance is where most Indian supply chains break — wrong HS classification, missing certificates, or a delayed e-Sanchit upload can keep your container on the wharf for days while demurrage and detention bills run. WCL has been clearing cargo at India's busiest ports since 2014, with a CHA licence, ICEGATE 2.0 registration for direct Bill of Entry and Shipping Bill filing, and AEO-aligned operations that put most consignments on the green channel.
We handle the full customs lifecycle — pre-arrival classification, BoE/SB filing on ICEGATE 2.0, e-Sanchit document uploads with IRN tracking, examination & assessment coordination, duty payment via your AD code-linked bank, RoDTEP/EPCG scheme claim filing, and post-clearance CFS movement. Our DGFT desk handles any licence flags that come up during classification, so you don't lose a day chasing a missing certificate.
Operationally we cover every major Indian port and inland customs node — JNPT (Nhava Sheva), Mumbai Port (BPT), Mundra, Kandla (Deendayal), Pipavav, Hazira, ICDs at Tughlakabad (TKD), Patparganj, Garhi Harsaru, Dadri, Panipat, Sonipat, Sabarmati, Jaipur (Sanganer / Kanakpura), Jodhpur, Indore, and air cargo complexes at BOM, DEL, BLR, MAA, AMD, CCU, Jaipur and Jodhpur. One AD code, one customs broker, one accountability line.

We review your commercial invoice, packing list and HS code BEFORE the container moves. Catches 80% of clearance issues at the cheapest correction point.

We collect originals or e-copies of all required certificates — IEC, AD code, licences, FTA origin certs, scheme authorisations — and upload to e-Sanchit with IRNs tracked.
BoE / SB filing
Direct filing on ICEGATE 2.0 with our CHA licence. Real-time docket reference shared on WhatsApp.
Assessment & examination
AEO-aligned consignments typically clear on green channel. Where examination is required, we coordinate timing to minimise CFS / port hold time.

Questions clients ask us about Customs Clearance
Can you handle customs clearance at ports where we don't have an office?
Yes. Our 5 physical offices cover the hub ports/ICDs directly; for other nodes (Pipavav, Hazira, Garhi Harsaru, Patparganj, etc.) we operate through our FFFAI network with WCL accountability — you still get one invoice, one shipment reference, and one WhatsApp updates feed.
What documents do you need before filing the Bill of Entry?
Commercial invoice, packing list, Bill of Lading or AWB, IEC, AD code letter from your bank for that port, any scheme authorisation or FTA preferential origin certificate if applicable, and product-specific certificates (BIS / FSSAI / WPC / CDSCO etc.). We provide a per-shipment checklist before cargo arrival.
How long does typical customs clearance take?
For AEO-aligned green-channel consignments at JNPT/Mundra: typically 24-48 hours from BoE filing to OOC. With examination: add 24-72 hours depending on the port queue. For air cargo at BOM/DEL: 12-24 hours is common.
Do you handle the RoDTEP / EPCG claim filing too?
Yes — our DGFT desk files RoDTEP claims at the Shipping Bill stage so the scrip is generated automatically post-EGM. For EPCG and Advance Authorisation, we maintain the entire post-export ledger and file redemption with DGFT regional offices.
What if customs holds my shipment for examination?
We coordinate examination timing with the appraiser and present the cargo and documents in person at the CFS. Where the hold is for a missing document, we resolve via e-Sanchit within hours. Where it is a valuation / classification dispute, our team represents at SVB or files an appeal — we don't just hand the file back to you.
