Palletisation, fumigation, and wrapping are export-ready packaging compliance — boring until something goes wrong. ISPM-15 fumigation is non-negotiable for any wooden packaging exported from India (pallets, crates, dunnage). Stretch wrapping prevents transit damage. Heat treatment certification keeps your cargo from being quarantined at the destination port.

Our process — step by step
Specification confirmation
We confirm pallet type (EUR / ISO / GMA / FBA / custom), stretch-wrap layers, corner-board requirement, fumigation method (chemical or HT), labelling spec from your buyer or destination retailer.
Wooden packaging fumigation / HT
Pallets and wooden dunnage either fumigated with methyl bromide / sulfuryl fluoride (where allowed) or heat-treated to 56 degrees C for 30 minutes per ISPM-15. NPPO certificate + stamp issued.
Cartons-to-pallet stacking
Cartons stacked per pallet spec. Buyer-specific load patterns (column stack, brick stack, interlocking). Each pallet weighed and photo-recorded.
Stretch wrap + corner board + banding
Stretch wrap applied to spec layer count. Corner boards added for top/edge protection. Steel or plastic banding for stack integrity.
Pallet labelling & dispatch
Master label, pallet ID, ISPM-15 stamp, buyer carton labels affixed. Pallets dispatched to CFS / airport. Photo set handed to you with the dispatch document.

Is ISPM-15 mandatory for all exports?
For any wooden packaging material (pallets, crates, dunnage) crossing international borders, yes — under the IPPC's ISPM-15 standard. Plastic and metal pallets are exempt. Honeycomb cardboard pallets are exempt too.
What's the difference between fumigation and heat treatment?
Both kill insects in the wood. Fumigation uses methyl bromide or sulfuryl fluoride (chemical). Heat treatment uses 56 degrees C for 30 minutes (thermal). Some destination countries restrict chemical fumigation, so heat treatment is the safe default for environmentally-aware markets (EU, Australia, NZ).
Can you palletise to Amazon FBA specs?
Yes — FBA carton-stacking rules (no overhang, no carton inversion, weight limits per pallet, 100% wrap coverage). We palletise to FBA spec, deliver to the Amazon FC truck, and provide the BOL with shipment ID.
How much does fumigation add to my freight cost?
Typically INR 500-1,500 per pallet depending on facility location and method. For a 20' container with 10 EUR pallets, that's INR 5,000-15,000 — material but proportional. The alternative — having your cargo quarantined at the destination — costs far more.
