  • Any rate we share is an offer, not a booking confirmation. Rates are valid for 7 daysand subject to space, equipment and rate availability at the time of booking.
  • Ocean and air rates are typically quoted in USD. Final INR invoice uses RBI reference rate on the date of invoice.
  • Freight-forwarding work is governed by FFFAI Standard Trading Conditions, IATA / Warsaw / Montreal conventions for air, and Hague-Visby Rules + Indian maritime law for sea. Full terms: /terms-conditions.
  • Quotes exclude destination handling, THC / DTHC, demurrage & detention beyond free days, port storage, customs duty at destination, cargo insurance and GST unless expressly included.
  • Sailing / flight / trucking schedules and transit times are indicative and subject to carrier operational decisions. WCL is not liable for delays beyond our reasonable control (blank sailings, port congestion, weather, strikes, force majeure).
  • Insurance is not included unless separately requested. We strongly recommend All-Risks cover for every shipment.
  • Standard payment terms are 100% advance for new customers; credit terms may be discussed after 3 successful shipments, subject to references and internal credit checks.

A human team reviews the request and may contact you to clarify unknown or incomplete details. A request is not an offer, capacity reservation or booking.

If a written quotation is issued, review its scope, inclusions, exclusions, validity and terms. Space, equipment, rates and booking are confirmed separately.

Questions about quotation requests

What details are required to start a quotation request, and which are useful if known?
The form requires your name, company, a valid email address and phone number, origin, destination, equipment or cargo type, commodity description, shipping timing and terms consent. Quantity, weight or dimensions, ready date, special handling and scope of work improve the review when they are known, but they are not required to begin. Unknown details are clarified with you rather than guessed.
Can I submit a request if I am still exploring options?
Yes. Choose the Exploring or rates only timing if you are comparing modes or gathering information. This marks the enquiry as exploratory. It does not reserve capacity, confirm availability or create a booking. Any written quotation issued later remains subject to separate confirmation of space, equipment and booking.
What should I do if exact cargo weight, dimensions or equipment are not yet known?
Describe the cargo as accurately as you can and note what remains to be confirmed. The team will ask for clarification rather than assume missing details. If you cannot complete a required field, contact us for guidance before submitting the request.
How is a quotation request different from a quotation or a booking?
Submitting the form starts a review by the team. A written quotation, if issued, sets out the proposed scope, inclusions, exclusions, validity period and applicable terms for you to review. Space, equipment, rates and booking are confirmed separately. A request is not a freight quotation, capacity or space reservation, booking, customs clearance, credit approval, payment or customs filing.
How are requests marked Immediate or next 7 days handled?
Selecting Immediate or next 7 days marks your planned movement as time-sensitive. The team may need further information before quoting. Urgency does not confirm availability, a reply deadline or a booking.
What is the original-request backup and read-only preview?
When an original request is available, Keep your original request lets you download that complete original as a private backup and open a saved file for read-only review. Opening or downloading it does not submit a request, change consent or confirm delivery. Keep backup files private. Reviewing a file does not fill the form, and drafts are not saved or resent automatically.
Where can I read the written terms and privacy information?
The written terms are available on the terms and conditions page. Privacy information is on the privacy policy page. Review both before giving consent. A quotation, if issued, will also set out the applicable terms for that offer.
